Speech & Language Services
Overview
We offer speech and language services at our clinic, that help in enhancing the communication skills of both children and adolescents. This would also include how they speak, understand, say, and interact with other people. Another facet we focus on is honing skills such as literacy, auditory processing, and reading comprehension.
Our team utilizes the most up to date tools and research based methods to help construct evaluations, and therapy sessions tailored to meet the need of each individual child, and family.
Services We Provide:
Our speech and language services include screenings, comprehensive speech and language evaluations, as well as speech and language therapy.
Screenings: This is typically a brief review conducted to assess your child or adolescent’s speech, receptive and expressive language, voice and fluency skills.
Comprehensive Speech and Language Evaluations: This refers to a detailed assessment of your child or adolescent’s speech, receptive and expressive language skills, voice and fluency skills.
Classroom Consultations: This would span real time recommendations on speech and language needs, which are provided to teachers and administrators based upon observations within the classroom environment.
Speech and Language Intervention/Therapy: This refers to one on one or group sessions focused on play-based therapy, family involvement, education for children, literacy skills and auditory processing for school-aged children and adolescents.
